Alipay+ played in UEFA Euro 2024 with the help of Societal

If you went to any game at the UEFA EURO 2024™ Tournament in Germany, chances are you would have seen this big-screen film.

We collaborated with Alipay+ on an innovative campaign to celebrate the significant role Alipay+ took as the official Payment Partner of the UEFA Euro 2024™ tournament. The campaign we developed revolved around forming a "dream team" of influencers from the region to showcase the convenience and accessibility of the Alipay+ payment network across key Asian destinations and beyond by taking them to Germany for the UEFA Euro 2024™ tournament. This demonstrated that they can pay smartly with their home e-wallets wherever they are.

This concept brought together Alipay+ and their team of influencers under the leadership of football icon Gareth Bale. Together, they’re headed to Germany to participate in a memorable promotional campaign under the banner of “Together we can #GOALBEYOND”. To put together the team, Alipay+ and Societal worked hand in hand with HEPMIL Media Group, which sourced eight influencers from around the region. The remaining two were hand-picked by Alipay+ themselves. This dynamic team of influencers highlighted the seamless usability and widespread acceptance of the Alipay+ payment network within the region and its expanding global footprint.
